Come as you are – welcome where the Spirit leads.
There is no expectation of how you need to come to worship. Come as you are. We are relaxed and informal, but still aim to know an element of the holy in our worship services. We laugh, we cry, we sing, we pray – the full depth of human emotion is brought before God in praise of Christ and by the leading of the Spirit.
Many have said after leaving a worship service at Westminster – “you never know what to expect.” Creativity abounds by letting God’s voice come through the scriptures of the day within a familiar order of worship. We aim to have worship flow from one component to the next, tying music, word and action into one common theme. Our hope is this helps bring us all into worship of our God.
Worship at Westminster is at the heart of all we do. It is our chance to meet our brothers and sisters, our friends and neighbours, in showing our devotion to God through song, story, praise and prayer. All aspects of our church life meet in our Sunday service – worship, teaching, community, service and mission. We are proud of our excellent tradition of uplifting and meaningful music, our focus on spirituality, preaching God’s Word and the Good News it has for all of our lives, and showing our love for God. We strive to be a welcoming, warm and inclusive congregation and look forward to the chance to worship with you.
